My 1st Interview

Sound Of Stereo is Jochen Sablon and Vincent De Boeck. They met about a year ago on the internet. Though it wasn't a datingsite on which they met, they hooked up pretty fast and started producing and dj'ing together. And with success: Their first single Nic Nag was picked up by MTV Belgium that used it for a televisioncommercial. After MTV, also Belgian's national radiostation Studio Brussels discovered the magic duo and decided to play Nic Nag in heavy rotation on some of their best shows such as Mish Mash, Volt and Switch. Next to the (inter)national media, also some (inter)national deejays discovered Sound Of Stereo: They are played by The Bloody Beetroots, Ed & Kim, The Subs, Goose, Nadiem Shah and many others. In the next few months Jochen & Vincent will be kicking some serious ass on various parties near you!

Interview:

1.Can you briefly present you.
- We are Jochen & Vincent, two supahdupahdudes from Belgium!

2.Supah Dupah have a success with the support by The Bloody Beetroots. what do you think about this great group which makes fury and takes one of your titles?
- We love the bloody beetroots, Bobby and tommy are the funiest guys ever! :-) We never dared to dream that guys like Bloody beetroots would play us.

3.Which was your first concert?
- uuhm, It's was at a venue not far from our homes, We played for about 500 people, We were pretty nervous but the crowd went crazy!

4.Your more beautiful party? The badest?
- Cubic at are hometown was the greatest, we played there together with yuksek and DIM. We hadn't got any real bad gigs... If the atmosphere is good, we're happy!

5.Apparently success starts to be felt. How live it you?
- Everything we can do or what's given us is just great, we don't really have large excpectations. We just try to enjoy every moment of it.

6.I see that you didn't publish a remix. Is there one?
- There's no real rmx yet, but we got some requests by other artists. We'll be working on that this summer!

7.Question which has no matter but which is of topicality. What do you think about Sarkozy?
- We try not to get involved in politics :-) Belgium as already as complicated as it is! ... what we do know about sarcozy is that he's busy getting a tan with his girlfriend on the beach :-)

8.Futur titles? Futur album? Your arrival in France?
- We'll be be doing some remixes and new stuff this summer, maybe a new EP at the end of the year, we're not sure... at this point we're trying to finish our schoolyear, the summer will be magical! About our arrival in france, We don't have any bookings in france yet. maybe after this post we do :-)

9.A last word to conclude this interview?

Le nouveau remix de Alex Gopher lui fait continuer encore et toujours son ascension. Robert M prévoit l'été, Mr Miyagi est le roi du Kung-Fu, Chewy Chocolate Cookies aime toujours autant remixé les Digitalism et ca marche, enfin Alex Metric fait lui aussi un bon remix avec ce dernier des Infadels.
